About Alpharetta

Alpharetta, in Fulton County, Georgia was initially settled as “New Prospect Camp Ground” on the route of a Cherokee Indian trail.  On Dec. 11, 1858, the town of Alpharetta was chartered and became the county seat of Milton County.  Local tradition states that the word Alpharetta means “first town”, but that is definitely up for debate.  In 1931, Milton County merged into Fulton County.  Recently, some residents have worked together to form a sister city after the old county name of Milton.

About Michael

In a nutshell, I’m a native Georgian with over 20 years experience in the housing industry, serving in such roles as civil engineer, geotechnical engineer, environmental engineer, investor, home owner and most importantly, REALTOR. Here’s a little video about me and my service to you.  Personally, my favorite thing about Alpharetta is the Metroplitan Ballet Theatre, because my daughter has danced there for many years.
